Direct to Garment (DTG) printing has become increasingly popular at our shop. With so much time and effort going into your designs, we want to make sure you and your customers get the most out of your printed apparel.
DTG printing is a new printing technology that involves printing a digital image directly to apparel. Essentially your designs are printed onto garments just like a digital printer prints on paper. It’s perfect for intricate multicolor designs or small orders (less than 12). DTG offers you no limit on what you want to print on a custom shirt.
Following these instructions will help avoid fading, cracking and shrinking of the garment.
WASH
Printed apparel should be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent soap and with like colors.
DRY
DTG apparel can tumble dry on a low heat setting but hang-dry works best.
IRON
If you plan on ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don’t iron on the print.
NO-NOS
Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Do not dry clean.
